I didn’t think that I could do it.
12.12.2020 Houze Day is a special event to present and demo our products, announce and commit to Houze’s next goals.
Two weeks before, I was nervous about this event. I couldn’t focus to do my daily jobs. I couldn’t focus to do my presentation also. I was scared of returning to the stage again.
Three last days before Houze Day were difficult. We decided to demo our products on the stage and with 2 devices on the screen at the same time because we have more than 1 role to demo the flow between roles. It’s a real challenge to make the idea come true but it’s truly worthy to do.
The last day before the event was a stressful day. My tech team did rehearsal but the vulnerability of the demo time was scary. We couldn’t expect bugs would happen while demo time but it probably happened. We came to the venue at 6 AM to prepare and rehearse till 8 AM to make sure that everything would be ready. Fortunately, everything was smooth. We did 5 demos successfully.
To be short, we know that the next season will be tough and challenging but we are confident, passionate, and humble to keep going on the journey we chose. Thanks, my amazing Houzers! See you on Houze Day 2021!
