The Cornerstone.
It had its foundation on the rock.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” — Matthew 7:24-25.
I know what I am feeling these days about the confusion, sadness, and anxiousness even though my team and I have done a great job for the company. After a year, we handled 10 projects plus 3 other white-label products with a team of ten people. It’s such a great effort.
But I am losing the foundation. I am standing on the sand, is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.
And now, I have to accept my failures that I make many excuses to say they’re not. So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! — 1 Corinthians 10:12
I am a human being, distracting by a lot of temptations around my life that used up my time unconsciously. I pray for myself to commit my most precious time to God, first before anything else.
I can’t do all things. But I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Change me and use me as I begin again. Change my heart and make it soft so I can help my neighbors with honesty, love, and care. I don’t know when it will happen but I believe it will happen to make me better and closer to Jesus Christ.
This story is for me to remind me of the difficult period of time in my life when I have almost everything but in my heart actually I feel empty. Please change me as You changed Jacob’s heart.
